MICROSOFT WORD FOR IPAD TRIAL

I signed out of the app on my iPad and went to Settings, where I cancelled my subscription. So I wondered, what if I bought the app through Microsoft? Which is pretty poor because you would think Microsoft would want you to have a seamless experience.
